Call for Student Artwork

The Texas Middle School Association is seeking unique student artwork to be displayed during our 2012 Annual Conference. 

Criteria:  Artwork must be the work of students currently enrolled in grades 5-9.

Theme:  There is no specific theme.

Media: Artwork to be considered includes paintings, drawings, collages, mixed media in 2 or 3 dimension or electronic examples (digital prints) of artwork.

Works of art in 2 dimensions may be no larger than 130 inches in length, width or depth.  All art selected must be transported by the school or at their expense.

Details: The artwork will be on display at various areas in the Galveston Convention Center during the TMSA Annual conference. 

TMSA will provide tables for displaying 3 dimensional work.

Schools providing 2 dimensional work are responsible for supplying their own display systems. All artwork must be installed no later than 10:00 am the morning of Thursday, March 1, 2012 and must be taken down on Saturday, March 3, 2012 by 3:00 pm.  

TMSA is not able to store artwork at the Galveston Convention Center after that date.
